Podcast | RippedBody.com | Interview with Luka Hocevar

I’ve recently branched out of my ever-growing skill set into podcast editing for RippedBody.com. Although everyone keeps telling me to “specialize, you’ll make more money,” I just don’t seem to learn. Editing podcast is just way too fun! Plus, variety is the spice of life, right?

Before you drift off at the news of yet another fitness podcast, hear me out. Andy Morgan has been doing exceptional work by making fitness advice available to the average person. Instead of pushing supplements and sponsorship, his content is based on the latest scientific research. He is part of an online fitness community fighting the misinformation perpetuated by the industry. His podcasts are perfect for the average gym-goer or fitness coach / personal trainer looking to take their business to the next level.

What a guy! Luka really gets what makes a business successful. Rarely do I hear someone that talks about marketing and sales in such clarity. Even though he is talking about his gym, the advice he gives is the same I give to small business owners in Kitchener-Waterloo.

Get out in the community and be real! Authenticity can’t be purchased with advertisements. However, supporting charities and your local economy always comes back. No, there is no Return-On-Investment formula, you just have to be true to your core business and clients. Businesses that take the easy road will inevitably have “the bottom fall out” of their business.
